I’m used to moving fast.
Quick decisions. Packed days. One thing to the next.
But Niko’s not in a rush. He stops. He sniffs. He leads. I follow.

There’s something grounding about that — being yanked out of a work call because your dog saw a squirrel. Having to pause because he won’t walk unless you take the same route he took yesterday.
It’s frustrating. And it’s the best part of my day.

People assume I spend most of my time in offices or on set, but honestly? Some of the best conversations I have happen on a walk with Niko. Just the two of us, no noise.

He doesn’t care about listings or negotiations. He cares that I bring treats. That I stop for water. That I scratch under his chin the exact right way.

He’s the most consistent thing in my life — and definitely the most stubborn.
Which, fair enough.

Everyday Dog gets it. It’s not about perfection. It’s about that very specific kind of love only dog owners understand — the kind you walk through life with.
